opportunities for their students to engage with employers. All the students at BASETECH Training CIC have a unique opportunity to work on the restoration of classic vehicles such as Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, Jaguars and many more interesting vehicles.

One of our members, Colin, was so impressed that he decided to donate a VW LT50 purpose built breakdown truck to them for renovation by the lads and lasses at Basetech. We will keep you posted on its progress and look forward to comparing the “before and after” photos in the future.

Workshop facilities are excellent and all manner of car and bike repairs can be carried out here, plenty of parking and a great reception area, café and facilities for male and female visitors alike.

BASETECH Training CIC  (the North’s very own BASE CAFÉ)

No need to travel to the “ACE Café” in London when we have got our own “BASE Café” in Liverpool!

Basecafé is a really Biker friendly place to visit, 7 days a week from 7.00am to 11.00pm. It is fast developing into a great meeting place for car and motorcycle enthusiasts and as such, after my initial meeting with Bob Croxton we arranged a ride out of motorcycles to meet all concerned over lunch at the “BASECAFÉ”.

About 14 members turned up on Tuesday 23rd June 2014 on a variety of motorcycles. Bob and his staff gave us a great reception, a tour of their facilities and our members supported the “Base Café” by having lunch there and later had a great opportunity to talk to the lads and lasses who are benefitting from the opportunities offered by this organisation.

Basetech is a non profit organization who provide unique meaningful training and development programmes for young people aged between 13 - 18, who may not be in full time Education, Employment or Training. BASETECH Training CIC has taken a great deal of care and attention on setting out and maximising

Bob and his staff really appreciated our visit and our section was presented with a lovely boxed trophy/memento of our visit, which Bob is having engraved for us, which was a lovely thought by Basetech, and very much appreciated by all of our members.
